Established in 1997 by violinist/composer Anna Stafford Heifetz, the Stafford String Quartet is often, but not necessarilly, an all girl's rock string quartet, dedicated to string quartet music with an emphasis on rock n' roll and classical music. Tapping into the talents of Seattle and LA's finest classical musicians, the Stafford String Quartet performs high caliber, high profile events, pop recordings, film appearances, and rock n' roll performancs, using a variety of professional musicians in Seattle and Los Angeles. The Stafford String Quartet's recent clients include America's Got Talent, the Emmy Awards After Party, The Oscar's Governor's Ball, FOX pilot Wedding Bells, Alice and Chains music video "Your Decision," and a 2007 tour which led to performances in Austria and Hungary. Our venues include the Laguna Ritz Carlton, Huntington Hilton, Biltmore, The quartet performs all originals from Anna's 2006 release "String Music," and Anna's 2008 release "Staring at the Sky," available on iTunes, and a variety of standard classical, pop, rock, and jazz favorites.

Anna Stafford Solo artist, composer, and producer, Anna Stafford's quartets add a rich arena of new, uplifting string performance styles to the US Entertainment Industry and nationally and abroad. From TV appearances to recording sessions to her eloquent compositions, Anna adds an unprecidented charm to the music scene. Her recent recording and TV credits include: 2007 Grammy Awards, 2007 Academy Awards Governor's Ball, The Ellen Show (Josh Groban), The Tonight Show and Good Morning America (Kelly Clarkson), JC Penny Jam (CBS), and recent tours to Hong Kong and Calgary with MASS Ensemble. Anna's production credits include four string quartet tribute albums to Morrissey, Lacuna Coil, Deftones, and Thrice.
