Founded by Ms. Anna Heifetz (Yanni/Kelly Clarkson), the Stafford String Quartet is an all girl's rock string quartet dedicated to providing beautiful rock standards, orginals, classical and jazz music. Tapping into the talents of Seattle, Portland, and LA's finest classical musicians, the Stafford String Quartet performs high caliber, high profile events, weddings, recording sessions, film and TV appearances, corporate events, and tours up and down the West Coast. Our clients include Alice In Chains "Your Decision," America's Got Talent, the Emmy Awards After Party, The Oscar's Governor's Ball, FOX pilot Wedding Bells, and Bel Air Presbyterian 2007 tour which led to performances in Austria and Hungary. Our works have been featured in International Musician, Borders, K-Mozart Radio, and Strings Magazine. Anna Heifetz, Manager Anna Heifetz has managed the Stafford String Quartet since it's humble beginnings in Spokane, Washington in 1997. Since then she has expanded the quartet along the West Coast, from Seattle to Portland and LA. Each quartet adds a unique local charm, all while keeping in mind Ms. Heifetz's complete vision of a string quartet with a beautiful look.
Her recent recording and TV credits include: 2007 Grammy Awards, 2007 Academy Awards Governor's Ball, The Ellen Show (Josh Groban), The Tonight Show and Good Morning America (Kelly Clarkson), Yanni (International Tour), Kelly Clarkson, JC Penny Jam (CBS), and recent tours to Hong Kong and Calgary with MASS Ensemble. Ms. Heifetz's production credits include four string quartet tribute albums to Morrissey, Lacuna Coil, Deftones, and Thrice. Her lastest album, "Staring at the Sky," brought her international attention by International Musician and Strings Magazine. Anna is endorsed by Pirastro, NS Design, Samson Wireless, and Schertler. She resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband Mr. Heifetz and son Asher, who are both descendants of Jasha Heifetz, the great violinist.
