WEDDING MUSIC CHECKLIST
This checklist will help you pick the music for your ceremony.
Suggestions are in parenthesis.
1. PRECEREMONY MUSIC
(We perform a mix of classical favorites that your
guests will enjoy, which includes Bach Air, Water
Music, Mozart, Handel, Haydn, Vivaldi. Preceremony
begins when your first guests start arriving, usually
about twenty minutes before the ceremony).
2. SEATING OF THE PARENTS
(Vivaldi Spring, Ave Maria, Flower Duet-- this is
optional to you as it is part of the preceremony).
3. BRIDAL PARTY
(Canon in D is a favorite, also Clark Trumpet
Voluntary, Vivaldi Spring, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring)
4. BRIDE (main theme of Canon in D is often used.
Here comes the Bride... or your pick!)
5. AFTER THE "I DO's" (Mendelsohn's Wedding March,
Clark Trumpet Voluntary)
6. EXIT (usually Trumpet Voluntary, Handel's
Hornpipe... upbeat classical pick).
If you have a unity candle or presentation of roses
during your ceremony, music is selected for this as
well. Some great selections are Handel Air, Ave Maria,
Mozart Romanza.
